Faculty wishing to participate in the Founders’ Day processional, please complete the Participation Form.
Regalia: University Events lends plain black robes and mortarboards (not hoods) to faculty who will be processing for Founders’ Day Convocation on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017.
Faculty members wanting to borrow regalia should send height and hat size to Chelsea Hosch at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15. Mortarboards will be available in a range of sizes at regalia pickup if hat size is unknown.
Pick up: Robes and mortarboards will be set up outside the Green Room off Hearn Plaza from 2:30-3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, before the ceremony.
Return: Faculty should return regalia to the lobby area outside of Wait Chapel immediately following Convocation. Late returns should be delivered to the University Events Office in Alumni Hall. If items are not returned after a reasonable period of time, the faculty member’s department will be charged a replacement fee.
Processing: All processing faculty should meet in their regalia no later than 3:40 p.m. on Thursday in front of Zick’s.
